What would be the bestcombo to go mid 11's in a full weight street driven 78 trans am? A 400 block .30 over with a 455 crank machined to fit? or a bored 455(462 cubes) or a butler combo? The car will have a 2004-r and 3:73's and we want to drive the tires off this ! All the way to wildwood and back like it was your mom's honda! Slick can ya help a brother out? ;D

YEA! EITHER OF THOSE COMBOS WILL WORK GREAT, WITH A PERFORMER RPM INTAKE, A HYD. STREET ROLLER W/.510-.540 LIFT @ 240-246dur. @ .050 LIFT CAM,1 3/4in. SUPER COMP HEADERS 750 DEMON CARB, AND 10.5:1 COMPRESSION AND OUT OF THE BOX EDELBROCK ALUMINUM HEADS W/INTAKES PORTED TO R.A.4 SPECS! THE TRANS SHOULD BE REPROGRAMMED W/ THE ADDITION OF A 3,000 STALL SPEED CONVERTER THE GEARING SHOULD STAY UNDER 3.90s! IF ALL ELSE FAILS HIT IT WITH 200 SHOT OF JUICE AND YOU'LL BE QUITE HAPPY!

Getting ready to up grade my fuel system.. I would like to know the Pros and cons of what i'm about to do... I am going to install A Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump and run -10 to the filter from the filter I am going to run -10 to the pump. From the pump I am going to run -8 to the bypass regulator -6 to the bowls. My return line will be -8 back to the cell.
I am running a Holly 850 double pumper and my GTO is putting out about 500 HP on motor.. I hope soon to be stepping up to a 476 CI Pontiac motor putting a lot more power than this....
