Quote:Helllo everyone . Thank you all sooo much for your well wishes . Lisa and I just got to the hotel room and I do feel like I have been in a ufc match , lol . Everyone at the track was so helpful and supportive . The safety crew was great and kept me in the ambulance for probably 45 mins or more cause they were worried because the steering wheel was folded in and the said the belts were stretched . I never looked at them . I was too broken hearted to see my truck like that . We went 1.16 60 ft , 3.18 330 , hit the rail hard at around 600 ft and still went 4.77 . we finally start to get a handle on the truck and Then this , really stinks but I am already making plans on fixing her again . Thank you everyone so much . I still get to wake up everyday with my best friend , " Lisa " and see my kids smile and laugh so I still think I am the luckiest guy in the world . So happy i didn't get hurt real bad or worse . I will be back , I already promised Puddin at the ambulance I would make it to SGMP in October
I also want to thank my good friend and crew cheif Big Chris Webber . He always takes great care of me and my truck . He is still at the track picking up all the pieces and loading everything up in the trailer for me . Thank you Chris and his fiance Dedra . You guys are great .
Bobby
I hope to see it back in action, I wish them well.
Here is the truck in Oct having trouble at the same track-Brainerd Drag Strip
Miss Misery Testing Crash in Brainerd Ga . October 2010
This is from a Thursday test pass . Really narrow grove and having way to much power in it at mid track . We was also trying taking off in second gear trying to kill some power . Could have gone without this one but we did learn form it . Thanks everyone . Bobby and Lisa
Miss Misery Outlaw 10.5 4x4 Truck Almost Crashes in First Round
Bobby Dodrill got a little sideways in the world's fastest 4x4 truck on this run in the first round of eliminations at the Outlaw Street Car Reunion at Brainerd Optimist Drag Strip. Bobby had already crashed the truck during a practice run on Thursday, but kept it off the wall this time. It was a close call, but Bobby did a great job of driving.
